- I too have an almost similar setup as yours, except that mine is
- external modem on COM4/IRQ3. COM2/IRQ# is unused. This is so because I
- recently installed a 16550 UART serial card to go with my 14.4 modem,
- as my old serial card (multi-i/o) is only 16450.

- I also have a similar concern as to whether by so doing am I fully
- utilising the modem. Besides, I am seriously thinking of upgrading to
- 28.8 soon.
